Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in May 2021 that they'd leave the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that she has a greater political interest to the fact that she was an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US elections during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the impact that it had on people in Jordan and gained an appreciation for the global impact of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the election of 2010. However, she was defeated by Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 to August 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works on behalf of Democratic causes.
