Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of awards that include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress in 1974, while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Along with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main ensemble cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd first began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received critical acclaim for her comedic acting and writing abilities which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
