Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10-year watching." She joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019, a conservative media company. [4] In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation (a subscription streaming service that is operated by Fox News). She claimed that she was "dumped by the network" in March 2022. Logan was a journalist for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989) and then the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producers. After four years she branched into freelance journalism and landed reports as a reporter, editor/producer at ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her homebase, where she covered events like the 1998 United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the ongoing conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
